had a benson black series 8 count watch case and wanted another larger one to match it in Macassar wood first one was bought at a local retail store . went to the store but they didn't have benson products anymore . went on line to track one down. web sites were a little confusing benson site, Watchwinders.com etc It seemed they both brought me to the same place. Easy ordering fast delivery and beautiful product. shipped from Netherlands in perfect condition. watch winders will be next for me.

What I thought was going to be a disaster was rescued by excellent after sales service. Without going into details, the product, although good, hasn't got the correct power adapter. A quick and cordial exchange of emails and the problem was resolved fully to my satisfaction.

The watch winder has very good quality and looks beautiful, works quietly, bottom drawer is very poorly fixed. Only for that 4 stars everything else is just great)) The bad thing is it took 16 days to South Korea before postnl did deliver the package (usually international delivery takes 6-8 days). And I didn't like that there wasn't original package from Benson and guarantee certificate, because it was a present.

Thank you for your comment. PostNL (which you choose) is a cheaper but more slow shipping service. You can also choose for Fedex, they are more quick but the costs are also a bit higher. Please also consider that national customs may take a few days to check the incoming package as well. Our newest Benson Smart-Tech II series do have original Benson packaging and manual

The website is well designed. The product and the price are great. However, once the order has been registered, it took way too long to process and ship. I had to constantly follow up. Even after a full week, goods had not been shipped. However, that is really the only downside, but a major one. For the rest, Customer Service is courteous, polite, and prompt to reply. I still recommend them, just be patient.

I've really wanted to purchase a watch winder and I've browsed a great amount of websites that are selling them. However, watchwinders.com attracted my attention the most because of its reasonable prices at first but later I've also discovered a great customer service this company provides. Staff is very kind and helpful, if you ask a question via email usually you'll receive a reply immediately. You're treated as a dear guest not just as a customer. Especially, I would like to express my gratitude to Leon for managing my order. I really appreciate all the effort he put into this. Thank you so much! Thoroughly impressed with the quality of the watch winder! Very silent operation, runs smoothly at set intervals so it doesn't strain the motors unnecessarily. I Checked the accuracy of the watches every few days, and everything seems to be in order. 900 TPD seems to be the ideal speed for most of modern watches. The quality of the cabinetry and finish is top-notch. No rough edges whatsoever, the lacquer finish is perfect. One issue I noticed is the light button's touch sensitivity in my unit. It's not very responsive, I tried swiping the button, pressing it lightly, pressing it hard, it works every 5 or 6 presses but unreliable. Mostly likely a fault in my unit or in the capacitive/touch sensor. One thing I did find awkward, but doesn't qualify as a major issue, is the way watches are secured in the holder. There is a spring the compresses so that you can fit the watch over the velvet pad. The spring is very tough to compress and trying to fit the watch, secure the clasp, and keeping the unit compressed is a bit of a hassle. Also the spring's tension is very high, so it's somewhat likely that vintage bracelets could suffer stretching between the links seeing how much force the spring exerts against the watch case. Might be an issue, might not. Just an observation.

I ordered a Benson Black Series winder for 8 watches. The outer construction and design of the winder box is impeccable. The black lacquered finish is spectacular. However, the craftsmanship of the actual unit left me with a bitter taste. Upon unboxing the unit, I found that 3 out of the 8 motors had become unglued. In addition there was glue residue which is very visible against the black velvet interior of the winder. Removing/replacing the watches was simple. The cradle snaps into place with minimal effort and hold the watch in place firmly. However the removable cradles that hold the watch are very flimsy and made of cheap plastic. I don't know how long they will last. When I contacted WatchWinders.com about my issues, they suggested that I just glue the motors back! I think that they missed the point of customer service. I shouldn't have to do that at all, they should just have offered to replace the unit with a new one!!! The motors work silently and are individually programmable via a touch screen. The light feature is a nice touch. One feature which would be nice to have is an out off when you open the door. This way you can simply remove the watch you want to wear without having to worry about having to turn the motor off to remove the watch should it be rotating. In summary, the winder is well designed but the assembly is lacking. For a unit of this price, the motors should be screwed into place not glued. I hope that the motors are durable. It would also be of great comfort, if replacement motors were available from the manufacturer. This way, you could easily replace a faulty motor as opposed to having to buy a new watch winder. Also, it would be nice to have replaceable watch cradles. Finally, although I've had a mediocre experience, I will buy another one as they are a good value compared to other winders in the market. I hope that the new one will be better built than the one I just purchased. If they offer replacement parts, its a slam dunk. Otherwise you are just buying a winder that will eventually break and have to buy an entire new unit, instead of just replacing the damaged motors/cradles.

Thank you for your feedback. We received photos of the watch winder with one cup coming out of the board and glue residu as a result. We think it's the result of transport, but even then the cups may not come loose. We explained how the cup easily can be fixed (within 30 seconds) with a little bit of glue. Then the watch winder is perfect. When a customer is not happy with the product he/she may return within the return period.

I had just received the watchwinder on 4th May 17. The product was good and the packaging was excellent. However, the user guide/operating manual and certificate were missed out and they were not received together with the shipment. I believe the overall experience can be improved. Please send me the two documents ASAP. Thanks

Watchwinder looks great and feels very solid. It is very silent and the option to use batteries or outlet power makes it versatile. I have had it in operation for a month now. Once it did not wind the watch for a reason I don't know. Maybe the watch was not centrally placed in the holder and so rotation may have been a bit out of sync. The watchwinder box is bigger (well longer) than others that come at a substantially higher price. Delivery was top. Value for money this is highly recommended.
