Today the latest Benson Smart-Tech watchwinders are delivered into our warehouse. The collection of the popular Smart Tech watchwinders is now complemented by two new models, the 4.13.B and 8.13.B.

Given the great interest in the Smart-Tech watchwinders and demand for a slightly larger model, we decided early this year to design two new models and bring into production.

After the launch of the Smart-Tech watchwinders at the end of 2012 we noticed the demand for a compact but luxurious watchwinder. From all over the world we received orders for the Smart-Tech watchwinders that we designed ourselve.

Because we wanted to improve the luxury and comfort we did choose for a high-class design for the Smart-Tech watchwinders . Soon came the idea for a luxury watchwinder with touchscreen control and a glass front with a perfect view at the rotating watches.

Benson Smart Tech watchwinder 4.13.B

The smallest new model is the Benson Smart Tech watchwinder 4.13.B. This model is suitable for 4 automatic watches. The watchwinder has several programs that can be set by the touchscreen or remote control.

The number of rotations per day and the direction can be selected easily to choose the perfect program for the automatic watches. The LED lighting ensures that you have a perfect view at your automatic watches.

A nice extra feature is that when the rotors are stopped they all stop at the same position.

The stainless steel legs under the watchwinder provide a great look and the glass door can be closed with a lock. This lock prevents children or animals reaching the watches in the watchwinder.

Benson Smart Tech watchwinder 8.13.B

The biggest model of the latest Smart-Tech watchwinders is the 8.13.B. This model has exactly the same functionality and features as the 4.13.B but can wind up 8 automatic watches.

Although the Smart-Tech watchwinder 8.13.B accommodates 8 automatic watches, the design is very compact which fits perfectly into any decor like your bedroom, living room or office.

Entry-level watchwinder

To enlarge the range of "entry watchwinders" we have decided to produce a new model for our collection Benson Watchwinders. This model is entirely made of plastic and has a compact design. The modern look is emphasized by the LED light that automatically turns on when a watch is wound.

The watchwinder is suitable for one automatic watch and can rotate clockwise and counter clockwise in 4 different programs. The watchwinder will be available in black and white colors.

This new watchwinder model offers watch lovers a unique opportunity to meet the concept of a "watchwinder". Especially because we tried to keep the retail price as low as possible. The new watchwinder model will cost 89.00 euros, including adapter and manual.

Within two months we will present the two newest Benson Smart Tech watchwinders. Both watchwinders can already admired on our website but are expected to be available by the end of July. These new watchwinders have the model name 4.13.B and 8.13.B and will be the top segment of the Smart-Tech watchwinders.

The designs of the new watchwinder models are quite the same as the current Smart-Tech series. The watchwinders have a modern design which is reflected by clean lines, a glass door and stainless steel legs.

Innovations within the Smart-Tech series

Both new watchwinders have improved Japanese Maibuchi motors being operated by a revolutionary touchscreen on top of the watchwinder. This means you don't have to open the glass door for setting the desired program and number of turns (TPD) per day. These models also come with a remote control like the current Smart-Tech models.

Also new is that all rotors neatly center to the same position when the glass door is opened. Not only is this very practical when a watch it is inserted or taken out, it is also much nicer when all rotors (and placed watches) have the same position.

Benson Smart Tech Watch Winder 4.13.B

The two models differ only in terms of the number of watches that can be placed. The Benson Smart-Tech Watchwinder 4.13.B has room for four automatic watches, the 8.13.B is suitable for the excitement of 8 automatic watches.

We have opted for a compact design with focus on functionality and easy use. With sizes as 43 x 18 x 14 cm (L x W x H) we have chosen for optimal placement of the rotors without losing space.

Because both watchwinders belong to the top segment of the Smart-Tech series there are several technical innovations such as a touchscreen, improved Maibuchi motors and automatic positioning of the rotors.

In terms of design, both watchwinders do have a glass door for optimum view of the watches. The stainless steel legs/feet add an important optical effect which the watchwinders gives a luxurious look. Each watchholder inside the watchwinder is also equipped with a crocodile-look leather coat.

The price of Benson Smart Tech Watch Winder 4.13.B is 499,00 euro.

Benson Smart Tech Watch Winder 8.13.B

This model is suitable for 8 automatic watches and is therefore a perfect choice for the real watch enthusiast or collector. The extensive functionalities can easily be set and do wind up any automatic watch.

With sizes as 43 x 18 x 23 cm (L x W x H) the 8.13.B is also compact and does not take too much space in your home. Like the 4.13.B this model watchwinder also has LED lights, automatic start/stop system and automatic positioning of the rotors.

The price of Benson Smart Tech Watch Winder 8.13.B amounts to 799.00 euro.

At the end of 2012 we presented our new series Benson Watchwinders, called Smart-Tech. The user experiences, positive feedback and sales were immediately impressive so we decided to produce two new Smart-Tech models. These models are suitable for 4 and 8 watches. The start/stop system deserves special attention. Often it happens that the rotors of the watchwinder still run when watches are inserted or taken out. This is very bad for the watchwinder because pressure is given on the rotors.
